Specializations

Specialties – International Economic Relations and Management – are subdivided into 2 specializations. Each 2nd and 3rd year student must choose a specialization that is available for the specialty in which he/she is studying.

 International Economic Relations


Difference between IER and IB

IB and IER are two related specializations, the common object of teaching of which are external economic processes from the point of view of the national economy. The difference between the two specialties is the different subject areas of teaching:

– for IER specialization – it is a macro level of economic processes and phenomena that are based on the following concepts: world economy, interstate economic relations, the country's foreign trade balance, the country's competitiveness in the world economy, global  markets of goods, the impact of foreign direct investment on the national economy, country participation in global and regional integration processes, relations with international economic organizations, foreign trade policy and state regulation of crossborder activity, etc.

– for IB the subject of teaching is the micro–level (corporate) of external processes and phenomena based on the following concepts: crossborder activity of an enterprise, organization and technique of foreign trade operations of a company, marketing and competitor corporate strategy in the foreign market, corporate management in international companies: strategic, financial, risk management, business planning of an international investment project, international business projects, etc.

Specialization Management is aimed at developing a successful manager. In–depth economic theoretical and practical knowledge for performing managerial, organizational, consulting and other functions of a manager is the basis for the development of a successful leader. The acquired knowledge and skills will become the basis and effective tool in the development of a professional career in Ukrainian, foreign and international organizations.

The main results of choosing the specialization Management are:

• Development of intellectual capabilities, analysis of past and current experience in economics and management in order to predict the future.

• Acquisition of competence in the analysis of economic activity, making optimal decisions and thorough assessment of the activities of public and private organizations, firms.

• Understanding the importance of the growing social aspects of the economy, the external economic environment and their relationship with the functions of the leader.

• Acquisition of practical experience in the specialty.

 

ITM

The computer industry is today one of the most profitable areas of the world economy. The dynamic development of the IT industry and innovative projects require a revolutionary new approach to organizing management in this area, which is based on deep professional IT training, understanding the specifics of working in a multicultural global business environment and perfect knowledge of foreign languages.

The professional basis of specialization is provided by the study of modern programming languages ​​and technologies, the fundamentals of cybersecurity, system administration, work with technologies for managing large amounts of data, and design technologies for information systems based on business processes.

The unique specialization "IT Management" allows you to get professional knowledge, guarantees work in the positions of "IT analyst", "IT manager", "IT team leader", "IT project manager", "Software developer project leader", "IT HR manager" and other trending positions. A feature of the specialization is the dynamic change of curricula, which are updated every semester in accordance with the needs of the world labor market. Distance learning technologies and the international practical experience of instructors create a modern educational environment for future IT business practitioners.
